The 2006-07 ACE Memorial Executive consists of 13 members and has been targeted to lead the team to greater successes than ever before. Feel free to contact any of the members with any questions, project ideas, or suggestions.
Heather Comerford - President
I am entering my final year in the Business Commerce (Co-op) Program at Memorial completing a focus in Accounting and a minor in French. This is my fourth year volunteering with ACE Memorial. Throughout my involvement I have been awarded ACE Canada “Project Manager of the Year” for my development of Project Passport and have also received the “John Dobson Founder’s Bursary” for superior leadership. I have also presented for the ACE Memorial team at the National and International level.
Haroon Iqbal- Vice President
I am a fifth year commerce student and have one year left in my Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) program with a concentration in Accounting and am very excited to be Vice President of ACE Memorial. This year, we hope to build on the success that ACE Memorial has had in its previous years. Personally, I think ACE Memorial and I make a great couple. Unlike most couples, we don’t fight and we share all the same interests. What more can I ask for?
Kate Boland - VP Think Green
My name is Kate Boland and this is my second year as VP SIFE and third year with ACE. I deal mostly with the educational programs run in schools, so if this is something you're interested in getting involved with, drop me an email! Some of my other hobbies include eating take out, traveling, perez hilton, ultimate and fine wine. It has also been rumored I am distant cousins with both Cousin It and Scary Spice.
Will Penney- VP Micro-Business
I am now in my 3rd year of the Bachelor of Commerce program, concentrating in accounting. Upon graduation I plan to complete my CA designation. I’ve only been involved with ACE for about a year, and currently I am taking on the role of VP Micro Business. This upcoming year I hope to incorporate at least one new micro business in ACE Memorial, so if anyone has any interesting ideas drop me a line. In the few spare minutes I have between studying for school, working, and participating in various activities with ACE memorial I enjoy working-out, skiing, and mountain biking.
